Catherine McNair will join Yara UK as area manager for East Anglia, with responsibilities including farmer-customer relationships throughout the region.
FACTS qualified and with a high level of technical knowledge, Catherine brings almost a decade of experience to the role, having worked in buying groups and for merchants. Having dealt with Yara in these roles, she is also familiar with the range of products offered.
“Understanding my customers’ farm businesses is particularly important for me, and I realise that Yara, for many, is a big part of that,” said Catherine. “The external challenges posed by climate change, the sustainability agenda and protecting the environment are a massive focus for farmers and for Yara.
“It’s a challenging time for the whole sector, but with Yara’s drive and commitment for the benefit of the industry and with a focus on growing the team of expertise, Yara is definitely looking to the future and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
