The DM range of mowers from Massey Ferguson has been extended with two new heavy-duty butterfly units, complementing the latest RK twin rotor rake series additions.

The new MF DM 9614 TL offers a 9.6m working width, while the MF DM 10114 TL extends to 10.1m, and will be offered alongside the established MF DM 8612 TL and MF DM 9614 TL models.

New machines are equipped with the latest heavy-duty, spur gear cutterbar and the choice of either the tined KC conditioner or the RC roller unit. On the latter, both rollers are now driven with an aggressive steel-on-steel option for heavier crops.

Pro specification includes Isobus control for automation of certain functions and adjustable conditioning intensity. As well as this, the front and rear mowing units are connected through the system for manual or automatic side shift of the front mower when working on slopes.

The system automatically adjusts ground pressure via the company’s TurboLift system, while GPS section control will lift the mower on the headlands to avoid running over cut areas.

Pro models can be completed with a belt grouper to form swaths from 1.6m to 3m wide, with sensors to automatically adjust the grouper’s position to maintain the centre of gravity.

Six RK twin rotor rakes have been added to the range, providing adjustable working widths from 6.9m up to 10m. Each unit features Isobus control, speed-related height adjustment and section control.

The new flexHIGH height adjustment system automatically lifts and lowers the rotors to maintain the optimum working height. The rotors are all constructed using maintenance-free heads, with the option of load-sensing hydraulics on Pro machines for individual control.

A new MyMemory function makes it easier to change between fields by saving the working height, width and swath width before switching to the transport position. Thanks to a new gearbox design, all models can fold to less than 4m high without removing tine arms.
