Trelleborg Tires reveals its first agri rubber track

From November 6-10, Trelleborg Tires will introduce its first agriculture rubber track, the ART1000, at Italy’s EIMA exhibition, along with a selection of products and services designed for modern farming.

The ART1000 is said to optimise vehicle efficiency and performance, providing strength and durability. ART1000 tracks are engineered for the versatility and mobility of farm machinery, regardless of working conditions.

Its track design features tread bars that minimise soil compaction, promoting healthy root growth and nutrient absorption. The high self-cleaning capability results in increased traction and improved ride quality in demanding high-pull applications.

The track will also reportedly provide a high level of wear and cut resistance, even in difficult conditions.

The company will also highlight innovations from recent years at the event, including the PneuTrac range. A hybrid between a radial agricultural tyre and a track, it is designed for navigation in vineyards and orchards.

Visitors will also be able to find out more about the Adaptive Tire Management System (ATMS), which has been undergoing testing with OEMs. Providing real time data collection of dynamic loads, pressure and ballast setup, amongst other things, the system also features a patented sensor patch for “sensor-ready tyres,” offering a lifespan of up to 5,000 hours or five years.

There will be the chance to see the TM1 Eco Power, developed alongside Fendt, which is made from 65% recycled and bio-based materials and is said to outperform standard tyres on hard surfaces, as well as deal with the increased torque from electric tractors. This will be showcased alongside the longstanding TM1000 Progressive Traction range.

Trelleborg will also show off its patented agricultural TW rim profile for modern tractors, combines and harvesters, ensuring easier fitting and proper inflation of low-pressure tyres for enhanced performance.
