    Pöttinger updates Novacat V mowers with automatic swath placement

    First shown at Agritechnica, Pöttinger has introduced automatic swath placement for its Novacat V 10000 ED/RC Collector mowers.

    The digital update will be freely available, ensuring that mower combinations with a cross conveyor swather deposit the forage in the correct place.

    Previously, operators had to switch the direction of the cross conveyor manually when moving from pass to pass. Now the machine will automatically do this to match the lane being mowed.

    When equipped with Pöttinger Connect, the mowing pattern is displayed on the map in the Harvest Assist app.
