The 500R sprayer range, launched last year by John Deere, will make its public debut at the Cereals Event this year.
The self-propelled machine will take part in the Sprays & Sprayers demonstration ring, and shown alongside the 300M and R975i on the stand.
Split into two models – the 550R and the 540R – the 500R offers tanks capacities of 4,000 and 5,000 litres and the option of 30m or 36m steel booms.
Chris Wiltshire, John Deere’s tactical marketing manager for the UK & Ireland, said the sprayer won’t be the only new piece of equipment this year.
“We will have more news to share before the event gets underway, so there will be several very good reasons to come to our stand at what should be a really great show in its new location.”
The X9 combine, said to deliver up to 45% more capacity across all crop types, will also make an appearance on the stand, alongside the 6M and 6R tractor ranges, and details of the company’s See & Spray and precision farming technologies.
“Cereals is about the people as well as the product, and as usual we will have a big team of experts on hand to meet customers,” Chris added. “We look forward to the chance to catch up with our existing contacts and also making some new ones.”
