    Vogelsang joins forces with BeTec

Vogelsang has announced a joint venture with Slovenian manufacturer BeTec. As part of the agreement, BeTec will drive forward the production, design and technical development of slurry activities, while Vogelsang will handle European sales outside of the Slovenian market.

Harald Vogelsang, managing director of Vogelsang: “We are very pleased to shape the future of slurry application technology together with BeTec and to set new standards in precise slurry application—with modern applicator systems for all customer types and price segments. As the inventors of dribble bar technology, we are now taking this defining product line of our company to a new level through a European partnership.”

Effective immediately, the dribble bar and trailing shoe product lines from both companies will be consolidated under the Vogelsang-BeTec brand. This will provide customers with a wider range of options, according to the company.

This will include the Blackbird, which will be available in two options (RedLine and GreenLine). Both will be built around the Vogelsang frame, with the more price-focused GreenLine featuring BeTec’s OptiCut distributors and standard skids. The RedLine will include Vogelsang leaf springs, the ExaCut distributors and PrecisionFlow skids.

Some existing products including the SwingUp, SwingMax and UniSpread ranges will continue production unchanged. The Umbilical range will be the UniSpread and the BackPac, which is now offered alongside the Stylo, the Hilly and the Cameleon and Cameleon Light series of machines.

“A new standardised price list for the joint product range has been drawn up and is available on request. All enquiries will continue to be managed by the existing sales team here in the UK for both dealers and customers. Spare parts sales and servicing for both existing and new machines will also be handled by Vogelsang,” concludes Vogelsang’s Andy Hayhurst.
