New JCB Agri bucket brush cleans up in the yard and on the road

The new Bucket Brush in an expanded and improved range of JCB AGRI handling and loading machine attachments is not only durable and effective, it also takes up minimum space in storage.

The rotary sweeper is an indispensable tool for cleaning up around farm yards to minimise crop contamination and slip hazards on concrete and other hard surfaces. It also enables farmers to more easily meet obligations to keep public roads clear of mud and debris when tractors and other farm vehicles have to use the roads in wet weather.

This new version comes with a Domex steel frame for optimum strength without making the attachment overly heavy – it weighs just 210kg – and with a hood made from galvanised steel to resist corrosion.

The low profile design improves forward visibility and quick-release mounting brackets welded to the host shovel make it easy to install or remove. A number of poly bristle cartridges form the hydraulically-driven rotary brush, with segments securely held in place but easily replaced when worn or damaged. They pose least possible risk of harm to livestock.

At 2.67m wide overall, the new Bucket Brush is suitable for mounting on 2.13m to 2.44m versions of the new Grain Shovel buckets in the JCB AGRI attachments range. When not in use, it stands upright to take up minimal space in a barn.

The new Bucket Brush is one of a more extensive range of JCB AGRI attachments with improved performance resulting from a more refined design process and use of new materials. All are designed to get the best performance from JCB loading and handling machines – from the smallest skid-steer and compact wheeled loaders to the largest Loadall telescopic handlers and Farm Master loading shovels.

“Every JCB AGRI attachment is delivered ‘ready to go’ with the correct geometry and hydraulic coupling configuration for the host vehicle,” says Edward Roach, JCB Agriculture Sales and Marketing Manager. “It will be fully approved for use with JCB machines, have the correct CE certification and be supported by a replacement parts service available 24/7 through the JCB World Parts operation.”
