Amazone introduces BorderTS boundary spreading system

Amazone has developed the BorderTS system for its ZA-TS mounted and ZG-TS trailed fertiliser spreaders to accurately provide fertilisation up to the field boundary.

Unlike conventional deflectors, BorderTS is integrated into the software and used in conjunction with the Auto-TS border spreading system and has a special baffle construction.

BorderTS spreads the fertiliser from the edge of the field to the crop, leaving the shutter nearest the boundary closed. When used in combination with AutoTS, it is said to achieve excellent results in lateral distribution to the edge of the field. According to Amazone, this can increase yields up to 27% on the outer five metres of the field boundary area.

The unique baffle construction and guide plate can be adjusted. The baffles remove energy from the granules, which are then guided to the ground by the plates. This can be infinitely adjusted for application up the boundary.

When this is in use, the spread rate and delivery point are automatically adjusted and can be manually overridden in special circumstances.
