NRH Engineering to introduce grass roller at YAMS

Following a successful return to Lamma, NRH Engineering is moving on to the Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show (YAMS) with another new product.

The company will introduce a new version of its grass roller – the RollX-GS – which is offered with several options, including stone trays, hydraulic paddle tines, jackpot tines and harrowing tines.

All of the above can be operated from the cab.

Five models will be available, ranging in working widths from 4.3m up to 8.3m, all featuring a 610mm diameter, 12mm thick roller with rounded edges and capacity for ballasting.

To increase the longevity of the machine, all box sections have been built using grade SJ355 steel, while the 60mm high-tensile axles feature greasable, triple-seal bearings.

“Lamma was phenomenal for us!” says Neil Hopwood, director. “We expected people to be interested in the Tremor, but we didn’t think we would be anywhere near as busy as we were. We didn’t stop for two full days!

“We will have the Tremor on our stand at YAMS on Wednesday 5th February, and next to it will be our 2025 grass roller. The ROLLX-GS is a popular machine as it offers excellent build quality and reliability and a low cost of ownership over its lifetime.

“Now, with new optional features, such as the hydraulic tine, jackpot tines, harrowing tines and stone trays, I think it will be even more popular, and we can’t wait to see people’s reaction to it in York next month.”
