Suitable for tractors from 100hp, Reiter has introduced the Respiro R8 compact belt merger range.
It features four wheels to provide excellent weight distribution, and improved performance when working on slopes. It has a net weight of just 4,600kg while offering working widths between 6.5m and 8m for centre-delivery of swathes, or 6m for swathes to the side.
According to the company, the machine features a patented kinematics system to deliver excellent contour following.
Further updates include centralised adjustment of the roller downholder and improved belt tension. According to Reiter, crop flow has been improved thanks to an integrated spoiler within the pickup.
Isobus control enables adjustment of the belt speed and raking height from the tractor cab.
