Rožmitál continues to push extended forage range

Czech manufacturer Rožmitál has offered fixed chamber balers since 2021, extending the range of forage equipment developed by the company.

Two ranges are made; the LB-V120 has a cylindrical design with 16 press rollers forming a 120cm diameter bale, with notches placed around the perimeter to prevent material slipping.

The LB-R120 and LB-R150 both feature chain drives and 33 bars for forming bales up of 120cm or 150cm respectively. All Rožmitál balers are mechanically locked, meaning that the hydraulic pump of the tractor is not loaded during work.

Pick-ups comprise an over-weighting system and separate side copying wheels, with working widths of 1.5m or 1.8m for the LB-R150. For the chain balers, product is moved directly into the chamber, but with the LB-V120, forage passes through an insertion roller to minimise the risk of blockages and improve compaction.

A 13-knife cutting unit is also fitted to the LB-V, cutting down to 10cm.

A net wrapping unit is available as an option and all baler functions can be controlled from the cabin using the digital display. Minimum power requirements start at 60hp.
