Avant has completed its flagship range of loaders with the 855i and the 845, which have now entered production.
The 855i is a single-speed version of the flagship 860i, while the 845 is a single-speed variant of the 850. Only the 855i meets Stage V emissions standards.
Tuomas Färlin, commercial product & sales manager at Avant Tecno Oy, says: “The new 855i is Avant’s most powerful loader model. It is the perfect choice for Avant users who demand strong lifting capacity and lifting height but don’t want to pay extra for speed if they don’t need it.”
It uses the same Kohler KDI engine, pump package and electrical and mechanical components as the 860i, however, the Poclain MSE05 single-speed motors are new.
These simpler drive motors reportedly drive the price down of the unit. This brings the maximum driving speed down to 15kph.
Elsewhere, the lift capacity and lift height, 1,900kg and 3.5m respectively, as well as the auxiliary hydraulic flow of 80 litres/min is kept the same as the 860i.
