A new range of bale grabs has been introduced by Quicke. The Unigrip L+ and XL+ are designed to handle multiple bales at once, to improve the efficiency of operations.
“We set out to create a bale grab that gives you both robustness and efficiency,” said Henrik Jönsson, product manager. “From reinforced stress points to an adjustable back bale support, every detail has been designed to help farmers get more work done in less time, without compromising on bale quality.”
The adjustable back support can be used to carry multiple bales, with the L+ handling bales from 120 to 160cm, and the XL+ handling up to 190cm.
With the optional equaliser bar, movements are synchronised, providing a similar operation to a two-cylinder grab. As standard, a pressure restrictor valve protects bales from unnecessary compression.
The grabs are said to be compatible with most loaders and handlers, thanks to the BoH system.
Smaller models are set to be launched early next year.
