Tickets for industry’s leading dairy innovation and tech event go on sale

The inaugural Dairy-Tech event was a proven success and has been heavily supported ahead of its return on 6 February at Stoneleigh Park.  Tickets are now on sale for the event, which will continue to showcase the latest innovations, new concepts and science and technology required to push the industry forward as we prepare for a post-Brexit Britain.

Matthew Knight, managing director of RABDF, says it is vital for the future of the industry that farmers are constantly looking towards new technology and innovative changes they can implement on their farms.

He continues: “The idea of the event is to help aid some of these decisions through a series of dynamic talks, new product launches, demonstrations and research projects.

“We will aim to answer a variety of questions such as:  How can a better understanding of the complexities of genetics make a step change in herd performance? How can we influence food trends through consumer insight?  How are we developing staff to drive business performance? Can new breeding technologies change the landscape of herd reproduction?

“These issues will be discussed through a series of talks, debates and interviews on our innovation and dairy hubs throughout the day.  We are also introducing a brand new skills studio at this year’s event – a central point for career development – which is a topic becoming evermore important as the sector faces losing access to overseas labour as it currently knows it.”

Tickets cost £17 when booked in advance at www.dairy-tech.uk and are free for RABDF members.  All pre-bought tickets are eligible for our personalised itinerary service, a copy of which will be emailed out ahead of the event.  Tickets purchased on the day will be £20 but these visitors will not receive a personalised itinerary.  The itineraries are in place to ensure visitors utilise their time efficiently and will advise which exhibitors match up with the categories of interest they have outlined during registration as well as suggesting the most relevant seminars and workshops to attend.

Further information on Dairy-Tech can be found online at www.dairy-tech.uk along with the speaker timetables for the innovation and dairy hubs.  If you have any queries please email office@rabdf.co.uk or call 02476 639317
