The Professional range of Verti-Mix feeder wagons from Strautmann have been designed to be more agile and less complex, while still tackling the day-to-day workload.
They feature the company’s IMS vertical augers, with stepped auger flights for homogeneous mixing, while the front end of the machine has been redesigned to shorten the distance between the towing eye and the tub, making the unit more compact.
The shortened chassis and drawbar, along with updated driveline guarding, make the Professional range more manoeuvrable than the Expert models, according to the company, ideal for smaller yards and traditional buildings.
A simplified weighing system has also been fitted, while the side doors have been widened by 100mm for rapid feed outs. As an option, a rear cross conveyor or Danish-style rear doors can be fitted.
The range comprises six single auger machines from 7.5cu m up to 14.5cu m, and four double-auger machines from 11.5cu m to 24.5cu m.
