Bringing together leading agribusinesses, farming co-operatives, policymakers, investors, and start-ups, the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit returns to London from the 30th of September to the 1st of October at the InterContinental – O2.

Over 1,000 business leaders and stakeholders are expected to attend to discuss innovation and disruptive business models within the industry and highlight the vital role of supply chain partnerships in advancing climate-smart agriculture.

Key themes for this year’s event will include:

    • Strengthening resilience to environmental change and quantifying that resilience within the value chain
    • Empowering farmers by placing them at the centre of future innovations
    • Building trust in artificial intelligence and how it can be used to drive competitive advantages within the industry
    • The use of biologicals and genomics to build sustainable practices
    • Automation on-farm and investment in agri-tech, as well as accelerating innovation through collaboration
    • Monitoring the supply chain impact within the food system

These topics will be explored through a two-day programme of expert panels, chaired by key figures from the international agricultural community. Speakers include Camilla Corsi, head of crop protection research at Syngenta; Mónica Andrés Enríquez, EVP for Europe at Yara; Jonathan Henry, managing director at Garford Farm Machinery; and Daniel Cross, managing director at Dyson Farming.

Running parallel to the main stage agenda is a series of breakout sessions, focused on topics such as soil carbon measurements, hosted by Agreena; and bridging scientific innovation with the marketplace, with global research partnership CGIAR. Other hosts include The Yield Lab, EBRD, The University of Warwick, and ERM.

Start-up pitching sessions will also run alongside the main programme, offering dynamic innovators based across Europe and beyond a platform to share their solutions, which range from crop breeding, to robotics, biotech, soil health and more. Each Start-Up will have a dedicated exhibition booth, to showcase and discuss their technology.

Early bird tickets are currently available, costing £1,595 (excluding VAT), increasing to £1,895 (excluding VAT) from the 14th of August. Discounted virtual passes are also available, as well as combined tickets with the Future Food Tech exhibition (2nd-3rd of October).

Farm Contractor readers can get 10% off their ticket price (which works on top of the Early Bird saving) by using the exclusive code FC10 at checkout.

A limited number of means-tested complimentary passes are available to farmers. To enquire about these, please contact Callum Broadley at callum.broadley@rethinkevents.com
