Fendt to cease distribution of telehandlers and forage wagons

In a restructuring of the company’s full-line programme, Fendt has announced that it will no longer sell the Cargo T range of telehandlers or the Tigo forage wagon.

“In order to offer our customers improved integrated solutions in the Fendt dealer network under the current conditions, we want to optimise existing partnerships and establish further partnerships,” says Christoph Gröblinghoff, vice president & chairman of the Fendt Management Board.

“The current market situation is characterized by volatile and softening markets. This requires a more flexible approach to production capacities and leads to an increase in unit costs. In order to maintain the competitiveness of our products, certain product groups will be offered directly by our partners in the future.”

    Cargo T

Fendt has offered the Cargo T, manufactured by Sennebogen, since 2019. From the second half of 2025, Sennebogen will now market the range directly, working with agricultural dealers.

In line with legal requirements, Fendt will continue to support the existing population of machines.

    Tigo

Also in the second half of the year, Fendt will stop production of the Tigo forage wagons at its Wolfenbüttel, while continuing to support existing models in line with requirements.

While there are no plans to replace the line of products with another, the company has announced that the preferred forage wagon supplier for its dealers will be Strautmann, imported into the UK by Opico.

There are no changes to the current Opico distribution in the UK.
