Kuhn Farm Machinery has added a 6.1m model to its Multi-Longer hedgecutter range.
The 6157 e-TPAL machine joins the larger 7457 model, offering telescopic, left-handed operation for UK and Irish users.
Rhodri Jenkins, grassland product specialist, says: “The 6157 is likely to be a popular model with UK contractors and farmers, offering the right balance of compact dimensions for road work and excellent reach for field hedges and ditches.”
It comes as standard with the e-Assist system, which maintains a constant cutting head angle on the machine using an electric parallelogram and sensors to control the position.
An automatic lift float for roadside mowing is also standard, while a hydraulic debris blower can be fitted as an option.
Rhodri continues: “e-Assist allows a consistent cutting head angle and arm height regardless of the working reach. Working on uneven field edges can cause issues whilst trying to maintain a level finish and the e-Assist feature aims to make this easier.”
As standard, the EP joystick is included, enabling control of four proportional movements at the same time, combined with the VT 61 terminal, which highlights key machine data and enables quick access to settings.
The 6157 e-TPAL is only offered on the StabliLink axle brackets, which can be fitted to the tractor in less than 15 minutes according to the company.
