Biomass boiler distributors Rural Energy and Herz are inviting heating engineers from all sectors to attend open days with free biomass workshops, taking place from 15 – 18 June 2015 at their Biomass Training & Skills Centre in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.

The workshops will give installers from all backgrounds and disciplines an insight into biomass technology as well as an exclusive look at the brand new award winning Herz Firematic 499kW boiler -the most compact wood chip boiler in the world for its output level. Rural Energy’s engineering experts and Product Training Manager will be leading two free workshops per day at 10am and 2pm respectively, or visitors can partake in a simple ‘Walk and Talk’ session if their time is restricted.

Paul Clark, Managing Director of Rural Energy, commented: “We are keen to meet installers from across the industry – from oil, gas and renewables – to highlight the fantastic opportunities there are in biomass right now. With the sector booming, biomass engineers are enjoying an abundance of work and earning potential is increasing significantly.

“The workshops will also give visitors a chance to find out more about biomass and how to become a Herz installer. In addition to this, the release of the new Herz Firematic 499kW is very exciting as we believe it offers an extremely practical, efficient and cost effective solution that is completely unique in the market.”

The Herz Firematic 499kW wood chip boiler has the smallest footprints in its class thanks to its impressive cyclonic filtration performance, which means that it does not require a cyclone – a cost and space saver. With no cyclone the boiler is more compact and it also uses less power, only having a 3kW rating on its three phase electrical supply. What’s more, the new boiler has a water capacity of 1,145 litres and has the added benefit of a state-of-the-art touchscreen remote control system.

Rural Energy are the exclusive UK distributor of Herz biomass boilers and these open days and workshops present a one-off exclusive opportunity for UK installers to get a closer look at the new Herz Firematic 499kW.
