Strawson Ltd purchased the first root vegetable polisher from Haith in its Nottinghamshire production line when the product was launched 20 years ago. Now, the company has installed a new model into its South Yorkshire line, as part of a brand new receiving, cleaning, washing and trimming line.
Haith has reportedly sold over 500 units since introducing the machine, exporting across the globe to companies processing potatoes, carrots, parsnips, beetroot, and celeriac. The latest Mark III model includes a direct motor drive system, direct drive brush rollers, Cleaning In Place (CIP) for adjustable timing on detergent dosing and automatic washdown capabilities.
