According to the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA), 999 tractors were registered in the month of June.
This is a year-on-year increase of 17.3%, although it remains below the five-year average by around 8%. It brings the total for the first half of the year up to 5,955 units, up 22.3% when compared to the same period in 2025. It is also higher than the first half of 2024.
However, while the signs of recovery are welcome, registrations remain 5% below the recent average, and farmer confidence remains low amidst increased input costs.
