    Morag Holdsworth

Morag Holdsworth is NMR’s new field business manager in Scotland. Based in Stirling, she will be responsible for the operation of the company’s milk recording and disease testing services in Scotland. Supported by NMR’s team of milk recorders and area managers, she will co-ordinate the services provided to producers, vets and the wider dairy industry.

Born and bred in Scotland, Morag has a career in agriculture spanning 25 years. She started out as an area secretary for the NFUS based in Argyll and then spent six years with the Lantra Sector Skills Council.

She then moved in to the dairy sector and headed up the farm services team   for First Milk before moving to the position of farm services manager for Graham’s The Family Dairy.

“Morag brings  a wealth of knowledge of the Scottish dairy industry to her new role,” says national field manager Jonathan Davies. “We are fortunate to have access to this experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to develop NMR’s business in Scotland.”

Milk sample testing for quality and disease testing for producers in Scotland are carried out at NMR’s Hillington laboratory near Glasgow. This ensures the timely and efficient turnaround of results for the country’s producers. Milk quality test results are typically available within hours of the sample arriving at the laboratory.

“I am delighted to be working for NMR and for producers and milk buyers in Scotland,” says Morag Holdsworth. “There are many challenges within the dairy sector, and in the production of high quality milk. NMR has the product and service provision to help the industry meet these challenges.”
