Tama celebrates the UK’s best baler operators

This season Tama, the manufacturer of crop baling products, has launched a new campaign to celebrate the work of UK farmers and contractors.

“The idea behind the campaign is simple, we want to give recognition to the country’s hard-working farmers and contractors,” says Tama UK commercial manager, Warren Tatton.

“These guys and girls work tirelessly, year on year, to feed the country and all that hard work, so often, goes unrecognised…..rarely is a ‘thank you’ or ‘good job’ heard.

“We want them to know people are watching and we appreciate all that they do, and we think they are doing an amazing job. A pat on the back and a few encouraging words can make a big difference to all of us, but farmers don’t hear it enough; we want to change all that, if only in a small way.”

As part of the campaign, product specialists will keep an eye out for the best bales they see when assisting customers.

Tama states that there is no sales push related to the campaign, instead operators will have the chance to be celebrated as one of the UK’s Star Balers, with winners added to the Hall of Fame and receiving a small reward from the company.

You can follow Tama on Facebook for clues as to where the latest stars might have been placed.
