    Tim Isaac

Tim Isaac has joined Ceres Rural, as the independent rural consultancy company expands its team. Established earlier this year, Ceres Rural gives independent advice to farmers and landowners across the south and east of England.

Mr Isaac was previously based at AHDB, as their knowledge exchange director for eight years. He will now be based at Ceres Rural’s Saffron Walden office, where his role will include consultancy and project work.

Within his new position, he will be involved in developing the progressive and innovative solutions that are needed for both the challenges and the opportunities ahead. Having been instrumental in the development of the Monitor Farm network and the Farm Excellence platform at AHDB, Mr Isaac is bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to Ceres Rural.

He said that he is delighted to become part of the Ceres Rural story: “The need for independent advice on rural business issues has never been greater. Joining a company that focuses on [independent advice] and works with some of the most forward-looking businesses around is an exciting step.”

Will Gemmill, executive partner at Ceres Rural, said: “Facing such a rapid pace of change, while also coming under environmental and financial pressure, means that important decisions are having to be made by farmers and landowners on a daily basis.”

Mr Gemmill concluded: “Tim’s enthusiasm for helping to deliver the information and advice that’s required, along with his experience in doing so, makes him the perfect fit for our specialist team.”
