Amazone: a new ZA-V 2600 plus additional hopper extensions

With the ZA-V 2600 Amazone has supplemented its ZA-V fertiliser spreader range by a new model with a hopper capacity of 2,600 litres. So, the full range now encompasses seven models with hopper volumes from 1,700 right through to 4,200 litres.

Despite its large hopper volume, the ZA-V 2600 features a compact design. Thanks to an overall total width of just 2.58 m, it does not protrude beyond the tractor. Nevertheless the hopper maintains a large filling width of 2.22 m, so that it can still easily be filled via a front end loader.

The welded, one-piece hopper extension of the ZA-V 2600, which is fitted onto the 700 litre base hopper, is characterised by smooth inner walls and a high rigidity at a low nett weight. For the safe climbing in and out of the hopper, the extension features internal steps on both the left and right hand side. Special sight glass windows on the front and rear sides of the hopper provide an ex-cellent view inside. And to ensure safe access from the outside of the hopper, a ladder is provided as standard for the ZA-V 2600.

    New bolt-on hopper extensions
The hopper capacity of five existing models of the ZA-V range can now be subsequently increased with the aid of hopper extensions. This offers the pos-sibility that the spreader can grow together with the farm or the size of the husbandry tractor. The additional volume of the bolt-on extension suitable for the narrow S-extensions as found on the ZA-V 1700 and 2000 models is 600 litres whereas for the wider L-extensions such as the ZA-V 2200, 2700 and 3200 models it is 800 litres. And also on these hopper extensions, the roll-over hopper cover can be fitted.
