Working out of Basingstoke, RS Agri has announced its entry into the muckspreader market with the Atlas. Available in capacities from 9t up to 16t, with spread widths up to 15m, the machines can reportedly spread a wide range of materials including manures, lime and compost.

As standard, it is fitted with twin vertical beaters, with Hardox tips and thrower plates. This is fed by a gearbox-driven conveyor floor, with heavy-duty cogs and the option of a two-speed unit with manual changeover. Single conveyor units are mounted on machines up to 14t, with the flagship feature a twin conveyor with four chains to handle tough conditions.

A hydraulic slurry door is fitted at the rear, with the option of a mechanical level indicator, with automatic light covers which protect the rear LEDs when the slurry door is open.

Isobus connectivity is available, alongside weighing system packages, and other options include air or hydraulic braking, a sprung drawbar, electronic conveyor control and an integrated hydraulic system. Later in the year, the company will also release machines with horizontal beaters, as well as larger capacities to meet the demand of larger farms and contractors.
