For the first time since December 2023, registrations of tractors above 50hp increased year-on-year, although only to a modest degree.
In September 2025, 932 units were registered, 3.7% above the same month in 2024. However, the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) notes that this figure is still 16% below the five-year average.
It adds that it is too early to speculate about any market recovery, and that the total for 2025 is only around three-quarters of the average, and is 13.9% lower than the same period last year, at 7,083 units.
