Lemken will add subsoilers to its range of cultivation kit at Agritechnica, with the introduction of the Onyx. It’s available in two rigid models, the MR/300 with a 3m working width and the MR/400 that extends to 4m.
A key feature of the product range, according to the company, is its 90cm underframe clearance, providing plenty of space between the ground and the frame even when working at the 60cm maximum working depth. The shares are mounted on two beams, spaced 84cm apart for easy inspection around the machine.
Two shares are available, with 42.5cm spacings. The Onyx Mixing share is designed to move and mix the soil, mounted on a curved stalk with a guide plate. It works at depths between 25-40cm, controlled hydraulically from the cabin.
The Onyx Loosening share works at depths from 40cm to 60cm to break up deep compaction caused by plough pans, enabling better water infiltration. Both variants are hard-facing, with the option of carbide coating. There is also the option to add wings to both types of shares.
Two rollers are available for the Onyx: either the DSW 580 double-spiked unit or the RSW 600 tube bar roller, which can be swapped out thanks to a quick-change system.
Limited numbers will be available throughout 2026.
