German manufacturer Strautmann has announced that it will no longer be distributed in the UK through Opico.
From the 1st of February, the company will work with an independent dealer network, managed directly from its headquarters. According to a statement from the company, this will bring it closer to customers, enabling enhanced support, quicker communication and a more streamlined service.
“This is a pivotal step for Strautmann in the UK,” says Bernhard Schoppman, head of export. “We are committed to providing the best possible products and support. Supplying directly allows us to forge stronger partnerships with our dealers and, ultimately, deliver a superior experience and closer relationship to our end-users.”
The primary contact for Strautmann in the UK will be the sales and aftersales specialist David Mein, who worked closely with the product range as part of the Opico team.
