Massey Ferguson extends compact tractor range

Seven new models will join the Massey Ferguson compact tractor range, including a new three-model 2M series.

The MF 2M.50, MF 2M.55 and MF 2M.65 all feature the latest styling, updated numbering and refreshed cabs and controls, according to the company.

These are joined by the new MF 1M.35 and MF 1M.40, which extend the 1M range to four models, and the MF 1E.40 and MF 2E.55 models, which replace the MF 1750 E and MF 1755 E.

    MF 1M

The four models in the 1M range, starting with the 1M.20, which offers 20hp, a mechanical gearbox and an open platform with ROPS. The 1M.25 is a 25hp machine utilising a hydrostatic transmission and offering an open-platform or air-conditioned cabin.

The new models sit at the top of the range, offering 25hp and 40hp, again with a hydrostatic transmission and the option of a cab. The three larger models also come with a two-speed pto as standard, with electro-hydraulic control and up to 41.5 litres/min hydraulic output.

    MF E series

The two new E models are designed to be simple to use for cost-conscious users. Available with an open platform and ROPS, the 40hp 1E.40 uses an eight-speed mechanical gearbox and comes with a 1,000kg capacity rear linkage, 540rpm pto and a 28.3 litres/min hydraulic system.

The larger 2E.55 offers 55hp and a 12-speed mechanical box, with increases to the rear capacity (1,200kg) and a 32 litres/min hydraulic pump. This also comes with an open platform and folding ROPS frame.

    MF 2M

The larger 2M models start with the 49hp 2M.50, which replaces the MF 1750 M, followed by the 2M.55 (54hp), which succeeds the MF 1755 M, and the MF 2M.65 (65hp) is the replacement for the MF 1765 M.

All are powered by a four-cylinder engine and come with selectable four-wheel drive as standard. The entry model uses a hydrostatic transmission, while the 2M.55 has a mechanical 12×12 gearbox, and the flagship can be specified with either.

Both the MF 2M.50 and MF 2M.55 models feature a quiet, air-conditioned cab as standard, while those buying the range-topping MF 2M.65 can choose between cab or open platform ROPS versions.

Production started at the end of 2025, meaning that the first deliveries are due to start within the next couple of weeks.
