Amazone will now offer the DFW 580 double flex ring roller for the Cenio and Cenius mounted cultivators, and the Catros mounted compact disc harrows.
It has an open design and ring spacings of 280mm, which the company says will make it suitable for a wide range of applications on sandy and loamy soils.
The central tube diameter is just 140mm, and the outer diameter is 580mm, said to offer improved throughput on light sandy soils, while the staggered arrangement aids with the self-driving affect. The continuous spring action also produces a high amount of fine soil.
Additional benefits, according to Amazone, include the soil flex ring design, which stops soil collecting and increasing the weight of the implement. Furthermore, it minimises the risk of soil and weed seeds being moved from field to field.
It can be further specified with a rear harrow, to further crumble the soil and remove weeds.
