Yamaha has announced it is restructuring its outdoor land vehicle division to focus on its ATV line-up.
Under the new strategy, the company will concentrate its development and investment on ATV units, with a new line-up of products designed specifically for the UK and Europe in the pipeline.
Alongside this, the company will position its UK dealer network to deliver higher availability, tailored accessories and enhanced technology.
“This strategic alignment allows us to direct our full focus and resources toward what our UK agricultural and commercial customers rely on most, our high-quality, highly dependable ATV line-up,” said Matt Taylerson, divisional manager, marketing at Yamaha Motor UK.
“We are entering a transformative phase with an incredible pipeline of all-new ATV models in development. These future products will deliver the reliability, durability, and innovation that UK customers expect from Yamaha.”
The new focus, combined with shifting regulations and rising homologation demands, means that the company will phase out its Wolverine RMAX and Viking side-by-side models by the end of 2027.
However, the company states that it will maintain comprehensive spare parts, servicing support and warranty backup for existing customers.
