Solis highlights the S-Tech engine unit, produced by parent company International Tractors, as a key selling point for the cab variant of its N90 specialised tractor.
It produces 90hp and has a torque output of 385Nm, which the company says is higher than its main competitors in the sector. Also higher is the cubic capacity, running at 4,087cu cm.
Power is put to the ground through a 12×12 synchronised mechanical transmission, with a mechanical shuttle for forward and reverse, the option of creeper gears and a top speed of 40kph. A power shuttle can be optioned as required.
The build allows for a width of just 1,400mm and a turning circle of 3.4m, while retaining a wheelbase of 2,310mm for greater stability. At the rear of the machine, the linkage can lift 2,500kg and the hydraulic system can produce up to 56 litres/min, supplying up to three double-acting valves and two double-acting mid-mounts.
Options include a category 4 filtration system, as well as access to Solis’ telematics and precision farming system – S-Connect. This enables real-time tracking of the machine, as well as performance monitoring, geofencing and service alerts.
Autosteer is available, and the system enables Isobus implements to be hitched and controlled.
