Organisers of this year’s Scotland Tractor World & Classic Commercial Show are really stepping up a gear with plans for more exhibitors and celebratory themes for 2019.

After 2018’s successful inauguration, tractor fans clamouring for a return of the spectacular show have been rewarded with announcements of hundreds more tractors, trucks, lorries, vans, classic commercials, machinery, club stands, horticulture and model displays.

Capitalising on the extensive facilities at the Royal Highland Centre, the interactive weekend of all things tractor, truck, machinery and commercial is extending to fill three large exhibition halls, plus outdoor hardstanding displays on 23rd and 24th March.  Visitors can browse in even more comfort with extended catering and rest facilities for 2019.

The show will be celebrating “The tractor and plough through the ages”, with exhibits from Veteran and Vintage to classics and the latest new models.  Special exhibits include 80 years of David Brown, long distance haulage through the eras, tractors manufactured in France, and all makes narrow, berry and vineyard tractors & implements, with more to come.  Exhibitors get free entry plus qualify for show awards, so put down that chamois and make sure you’ve downloaded an entry for your pride and joy!

Bargain hunters will love the return of the huge equipment and tractor auction, hosted by specialists Pentland Auctions, and Sunday’s Vintage Sort-out & ‘Agrijumble’ Spares day.   With thousands of visitors expected, it’s time to secure your trade stand or auction plot, don’t leave it too late! (Auction entries close March 12th).

Advance discount tickets are available online, with no need to wait and check the weather- organisers promise the show is 90% indoors, so fully sheltered from any Scottish spring breezes!   Register now to display, or just drive up for the open classic commercial drive in day on Sunday.

The venue is easy to get to from public transport and all major routes, including Edinburgh airport close by – just follow the brown signs. Plentiful parking includes disabled and coach parking facilities.
