DataConnect, the cloud-based farm management system introduced by Claas, John Deere and 365FarmNet late last year, is now fully live with an expanded lineup of six digital platforms.
Case IH, Steyr and New Holland users can now also access data from their self-propelled forage harvesters, combines or tractors on one participating platform, without the need for an additional portal. The initiative enables operators to see various parameters from across their mixed fleets.
Parameters include:
- current machine location,
- historial machine position,
- fuel tank level,
- status of the machine in the field,
- machine speed.
Any operator or owner who wants to use this option simply needs to provide themselves with permission to view all equipment in the platform that is most convenient for them. Once connected, other manufacturers’ machines appear automatically in the portal and displayed with icons in the respective colours.
DataConnect works without any additional hardware or software components and ensures secure data handling. This now applies to hundreds of thousands of connected machines worldwide.
The addition of CNH Industrial companies means that users of AFS Connect (Case IH), MyPLM (New Holland) and S-Tech (Steyr) now have the option of cloud-to-cloud data exchange with the John Deere Operations Center, Claas Telematics and 365FarmNet portals.
