The MF 3AL, a tractor for use on hills and difficult terrain

Massey Ferguson (MF) has introduced its new comprehensive range of tractors, the MF 3 Speciality Series. The range is an expansion of MF’s compact tractor ranges, to enable all sectors and specialisms to find an MF model for them.

The MF 3 Specialist Series includes six different models, available with either a cab or platform; a choice of transmissions including a 30F/15R Eco; and the option of Essential or Efficient specification.

With the Essential specification, models are equipped with a mechanical transmission, 93l/min dual pump hydraulic system and mechanical linkage control. This can be supplemented by a range of further options, including Electric Linkage control (ELC) and a PowerShuttle and Speedshift transmission.

Models with the Efficient specification will include a 120l/min triple-pump hydraulic system, Electric Linkage control (ELC), PowerShuttle, Speedshift transmission, a multi-function joystick and four electro-hydraulic spool valves.

    MF 3VI

This model is designed for work in traditional, narrow vineyards. It is available in five variants, 75 to 120hp, with cab as the standard operator environment, and widths from at 1.00m.

    MF 3SP

The MF 3SP is for more open vineyards. It has a wider chassis, with widths starting from 1.25m, and a more spacious cab as standard. This version also has five different 75 to 120hp models available.

    MF 3FR

For use in extensive vineyards and fruit orchards, the MF 3FR is a larger tractor with a wider front axle. The 3FR’s width starts at 1.45m, and comes in five models from 75 to 120hp; the operator environment is either cab or platform.

    MF 3WF

The MF 3WF is a wider tractor (starting at 1.70m) for use in orchards, hillside vineyards and livestock operations. It comes in five models from 75 to 120hp with a cab or platform for operators.

    MF 3GE

A low profile model for use under trees, in poly tunnels and in canopied vineyards, the MF 3GE is equipped with a wider front axle for greater stability. It is has four models available, from 75 to 105hp, and with an operator platform and widths from 1.40m.

    MF 3AL

The MF 3AL is one of the larger models in MF’s new Specialist Series. Designed to be versatile, strong and stable, for use on hills and challenging terrain, the MF 3AL is available in four models: 75 to 105hp, with a low-profile or flat-floor cab.
