For farmers, by famers: NRFC’s regenerative agriculture video series

The Northern Real Farming Conference (NRFC) is helping farmers to prepare for future changes, such as soaring input costs, the climate and weather, and Environmental Land Management (ELM) support. To do so, the NRFC is producing a series of farmer-led videos that will provide information and guidance on regenerative farming techniques.

With support from WWF-UK’s Land, Food and Farming Fund, the NRFC are hoping the videos will help farmers decide as to whether regenerative farming is for them – as well as hopefully encouraging them to join the NRFC network of northern farmers.

As a partner of the Oxford Farming Conference, the NRFC is committed to offering guidance on the regenerative ways of farming, as well as bringing food to markets and kitchens across the north.

All the NRFC’s online sessions from the 2020 and 2021 OFC events are also available to watch on YouTube (@FoodFutures).

Ellen Pearce from the NRFC said: “We have developed an amazing archive of resources and online sessions with themes covering everything from dung beetles to soil health, nutrition to grains and urban farming to cow-with-calf dairying!”

“We now have the capacity to share the best of our archives to further impact farming approaches and associated land-use in the North of England. We hope farmers will join our community, access the resources and knowledge and share their stories.”
