The fifth generation of the 300 Vario is topped with the 142hp 314 Vario, with DynamicPerformance pulling an additional 10hp from the AgcoPower AP 44 HD four-cylinder engine.
It also includes the Tractor Management System (TMS), which automatically adapts the engine output and the performance of the ML 75 continuously variable transmission to minimise fuel consumption. New for this generation is the TMS Flex mode, which enables the operator to switch between the drive pedal and joystick on the fly.
A three-speed pto is fitted at the rear, including 1,000rpm Eco, as well as a hydraulic top link and up to seven electric valves, with another three available for the front loader. Power Beyond is available as an option, while the 110 litre/min hydraulic system is a closed-circuit load sensing unit as standard.
Two specifications are available: Power and Profi+, with the latter adding the 3L joystick with 27 hydraulic and tractor functions available. Fendt has also simplified its Smart Farming packages, with three levels available within the FendtOne on-board and off-board system to suit the requirements of the operator.
Servicing has also been refined, with 500hr engine intervals, 2,000hr for the transmission and hydraulic oil, and just 19 grease points across the whole machine.
