Engineering company Fortg gas partnered with power tools manufacturer Milwaukee Tools, to offer power tool users a more environmentally friendly alternative to fuel-powered equipment. The new range of battery-powered products are now available from Forth’s trade counter at its main headquarters in Flimby, Cumbria.

The range includes battery-powered chainsaws, cut-off saws, and cordless drills, plus more power tools, as well as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers and leaf blowers.

Forth managing director, Mark Telford, said: “We’re thrilled to be working in partnership with such a household name as Milwaukee Tools – a company which is renowned for its high quality of products.

“Forth is fully committed to becoming carbon neutral and implementing changes like providing alternatives to fuel-powered equipment will help us to achieve our ambition quicker.”

He continued: “We want to encourage as many of our customers, whether tradespeople or members of the public, to be greener; making steps through supplying products of such high quality can contribute to that aim.

“Stocking Milwaukee’s tools and products really strengthens what we can offer from our trade counter, and this partnership has proven that we strive for the highest quality.”
