Horsch has extended its dealer network with a new partnership with Chandlers Farm Equipment Ltd. The company, trading as Chandlers RFM, will supply the full range of cultivation, drilling and spraying equipment through four of its depots; Bridgnorth, Rose on Wye, Martley and Raglan.

“We’re delighted to now be able to offer our customers state-of-the-art sprayers and the market-leading direct drill, which is much in demand in today’s farming practice, not to mention the go-to disc-tine drill for those preferring to stay with min-till practices,” said Russ Brett of Chandlers Farm Equipment Ltd. “Working with Horsch follows our strategy to sell quality, high-tech equipment, and these innovative products complement our existing valued franchises.”

James Sinclair, regional sales manager for Horsch added: Modern farmers are discerning businessmen who want high quality equipment supported by first-class customer service to ensure that they can be as productive as possible. Partnering with Chandlers allows us to work together to meet the need of customers in this area.”

Continuing on from Ross Farm Machinery

Chandlers, already one of the largest UK agricultural dealership groups, acquired Ross Farm Machinery (RFM) earlier this year.

“Some years ago, RFM sold Horsch products via the Simba franchise, which then became unavailable. When Fendt withdrew from the trailed sprayer market in 2022, this left a large hole in our product offering. Trailed sprayers, direct drills and min-till seeding equipment are a vital sector of the machinery market for Chandlers west of the M5,” explained Mr Brett.

Chandlers RFM was created following the acquisition and was awarded the Horsch franchise. The dealership has already ordered a large stock of machines and is looking forward to speaking to customers about their requirements in the 2024 season. Parts stock will be available from June 2023.
