The Estate Range of grass seed has been launched by Lincolnshire based seed specialist Cope Seeds and Grain. Designed to complement integrated farming systems, the range is said to reduce input expenditure while providing nutritious grazing for cattle and sheep and improve soil health.

The mixtures have been formulated in association with one of Europe’s leading grass breeders and bring together some of the top recommended varieties.

Key features are said to be quick establishment, high yields and hardiness, high sugar content, digestibility, disease resistance and persistence.

Duncan Hendry and Simon Travers, grass seed specialists at Cope Seeds and Grain have formulated the range, by drawing on over 80 years of experience, combined, in the seed industry.

“We’ve designed organic and conventional mixtures for short term or long-term use for hay, silage, or grazing, and we are confident that there is a mixture to suit every situation.

“We are also happy to make any unique modifications that you may have and offer recommendations and practical advice,” said Mr Hendry.

The new ranges are named after some of the well-known estates in Lincolnshire and the surrounding counties. For more information go to www.copeseeds.co.uk
