Hella presents new lighting solutions at Cologne trade fair

Hella, a specialist designer and manufacturer of lighting for the agricultural and construction industries, will exhibit a range of new products at the iVT Expo, Cologne, on the 29th and 30th of June.

The S-Series work lights were launched in 2021 and are suitable for a range of vehicles in both round and square variants, for mounting or as built-in units. According to the company, the universal, slim design means that the lights can be easily retrofitted to convert machines from halogen lighting to LED.

They provide illumination with a light colour similar to daylight and a colour temperature of around 6,500 Kelvin. Compared to halogen lighting, the S-Series reportedly offers high efficiency with high lumen-watt performance and meets the highest EMC requirements. Customers can also customise their units, with company logos integrated into the reflector.

Another highlight on the stand will reportedly be the K-LED Nano warning light. Measuring just 68mm high, it can be fitted to machines that have to comply with height restrictions or have limited mounting space. It uses a flashing light to generate long-range, amber warning signals to alert other road users.

According to the company, it has a particularly high light intensity, approved to the European ECE standard R65 Class 1 and the American SAE standard J845 Class 1. The K-LED Nano is available in three different mounting variants; firstly with a bolt circle diameter of 130mm and the standard Hella mounting points; secondly a slim variant with a diameter of 109mm; finally a unit with flexible pipe socket attachment, with a shock-absorbing, vibration damping base which can tilt by up to 45 degrees.
