Amazone has announced the Cenius Ultra mounted cultivator, available in working widths of 3m and 3.5m.
It features the C-Mix Ultra tine with automatic overload protection, actuated via a hydraulic cylinder. The release force can be adjusted between 500kg and 800kg to suit different soil types, protecting the frame of the machine.
According to the company, when triggered, the tines lift backwards and up out of the soil, enabling the machine to maintain a possible working depth of 35cm.
What makes the system unique, the company continues, is the use of individual hydraulic cylinders with central accumulators, providing a dampened resetting movement of the tine.
The C-Mix Ultra can be combined with the wide C-Mix share system, with a range of points on offer from standard units, to hard-wearing shares.
