Czech manufacturer SMS CZ is continuing to develop its range of grassland and tillage machinery.
Coming to market over the next 12 months is the self-loading bale transporter, the Porto V18, based on the design of the V15 but with the capacity to hold an additional three bales.
A hydraulically controlled grab lifts the bale onto the trailer, stacking them into threes before a hydraulic ram pushes them towards the rear of the machine. The same ram then pushes the bales off the rear of the machine to unload.
Cambridge rolls
Also coming out in 2026 is the Titan Simple Cambridge roller, increasing the working width from 6.3m to 8.3m, with three sections that fold hydraulically for transport.
According to the company, the Titan Simple can follow ground contours thanks to the design. There is also a wide array of options, with different cast iron rings, or the choice to fit a flat roller that can be ballasted with water.
A hydraulically-controlled levelling bar is also available.
As well as the self-loading bale trailer and the Titan Simple, the company continues to work on its Smart seeder, with an increased capacity hopper and wider working widths in development.
