At Agritechnica, Czech manufacturer SMS Agro will debut its Smart 400 pneumatic seed drill, offered in a 4m working width.
It features a hydraulically folding frame mounted with shoe coulters and discs spaced at 12.5cm, which the company says offers precise seed placement and germination.
There’s also a modular design, enabling customers to choose hopper capacities up to 800 litres, fan types and a range of accessories.
It’s designed to be a versatile unit, capable of sowing grasses and arable crops.
The Smart 400 will be shown alongside the Talon Green grassland subsoiler, capable of working down to 35cm; the Golem 540 grass roller; and the Finisher 400 4m cultivator designed for one-pass soil preparation.
SMS Agro will also hold a competition during the event, where everyone who stops by Hall 11, Stand E54, will be entered into a draw for a 600euro Milwaukee cordless impact wrench.
