Techneat to launch new Multicast Applicator at LAMMA 2023

The Cambridgeshire-based manufacturer Techneat Engineering will be exhibiting its new Multicast Applicator at the LAMMA show in January 2023. The Multicast Applicator combines the roles of the Autocast V2, the Terracast V2 and Avacast GR models, to simplify the existing Techneat applicator range.

A multipurpose seeder unit, available in either a 200 or 400l hopper sizes, the Multicast can apply most types of products including Avadex granules, cover crops and grass seed, by simply changing the applicator’s single metering cartridge. Using a powerful hydraulic driven fan and a Garmin GPS speed controller, products are applied though a distribution head which is available in various different configurations.

James English, Techneat technical support manager said: “The Multicast is a multi-use tool that will apply all types of products by changing the cartridge, offering farmers the option to transfer the same applicator between implements easily – especially if additional fitting/wiring kits are purchased.

“The new machine is National Sprayer Testing Scheme (NSTS) compliant and will have additional options of either a 12 or 15m boom kit, as well as trailed, UTV skid or a standard 3-point linkage available to customers.”
