Kverneland adds another grassland machine to its portfolio, thanks to the launch of the RS 920 merger, produced by ROC, which the company acquired at the end of 2021.
The trailed unit features two belt mergers, with three cams and a hydraulically controlled working width between 7.3m and 9.1m, making it suitable for use with a front-mounted unit for maximum throughput. According to the company, the spacing can be quickly adjusted thanks to the double hydraulic rocker arm.
When the pick-ups are at their closest, they form one single merger, capable of discharging grass into a swath to the left or right side. When separated, they can discharge into a central swath, to both sides, or a combination of the left or right, and the centre. In small or awkwardly shaped fields, it is also possible to run with one merger folded away.
As standard, it brings across several features from the rest of the ROC range, including its ground following system, hydraulically suspended axles, hydraulic suspension of the bent units and suspended crop rollers.
