Despite being a historically quiet month for tractor registrations, there was still a significant drop during the month of August.
Just 402 units were registered, 18.8% down from the same month in 2024, and barely half of the level typically seen at this time of year, according to the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA).
The rate of decline is broadly similar to what we’ve seen throughout 2025, meaning that the total number of tractors registered is now just 6,151, 16% down year-on-year.
