Yorkshire manufacturer, NRH Engineering, will launch its RollX GSD grassland roller and seeder at Lamma.
Available in working widths from 3m to 8.3m, it can also be equipped with harrow tines for scarifying, and specified with either a Cambridge or ballast roller.
The company will offer a Stocks Ag Turbo Jet 10 240-litre applicator, controlled with the i-Con system, to sow seed. This provides automatic rate adjustment based on the forward speed, and can be used with guidance systems for variable rate.
It’s an evolution of the company’s RollX-GS, which was updated last year.
“Since we introduced the RollX, it has been a very popular and highly praised machine,” says Neil Hopwood, owner of NRH Engineering.
“As a company, we always take on board the feedback we receive and try to develop machines that our customers want. That’s the reason for developing the RollX-GSD. We had several enquiries from large landscaping companies and people specialising in sports field preparation, asking if we could incorporate a seed applicator in the design somehow. So that’s what we did, and we’re pleased to have already sold the machine that will be our stand at Lamma.”
