Strautmann has announced two new, compact models for its Magnon forage wagon range.
The 8/9-330 and Magnon 10/11-390 have been designed in response to demand for high-performance machines with compact dimensions.
“Many customers want the technology and performance of our profi rotor forage wagons in more compact sizes. We are specifically meeting this demand with the Magnon 8/9-330 and the Magnon 10/11-390,” explains Felix Rademacher, sales director at Strautmann.
The 8/9-330 has a capacity of 32cu m, mounted on an 18t bogie chassis for a gross vehicle weight of 22t. It has a theoretical chop length of 35 or 22mm, and a hydraulically swivelling front wall.
On the 10/11-390, the capacity is increased to 38cu m and the chassis has been uprated to a hydraulic 20t system, with a gross vehicle weight of 24t.
The knife unit remains the same, but the larger model also benefits from the 2.25m Flex-Load hydraulically driven pick-up.
The first machines will be available for the 2027 season.
